It's really easy to add a YouTube video to a Typo3 site.

Upload your video to YouTube first, and then copy code provided follow:

Then Start new content element wizard and select Plain HTML from suggested content element types.

Finally paste the code you copied from YouTube into HTML tab as it is shown here.
